“I went through the RCIA program seven years ago. I was baptized Episcopal, but was not raised in the church. I was interested in becoming Catholic for as long as I can remember and attended Mass for many years with my husband – so when I heard about RCIA, I knew it was exactly what I needed to learn more about the faith. To be honest, I was pretty nervous, but our RCIA program is full of wonderful parishioners who create a very welcoming environment to learn and explore the faith.” KMcE
“I went through the RCIA program nearly five years ago with the expectation of learning more about the faith of my wife and children. That fairly modest expectation turned into a very personal journey for me, as I came to realize how important, and gratifying, it was to share our faith together as a family. RCIA fostered that faith connection that continues to enrich our lives with each day.” CS.
After ten years of marriage to my catholic wife I joined RCIA inspired by my son who was preparing to take his first Holy Communion. I attended the classes with the idea that I would continue to process as long as I encountered nothing in stark contrast to my own spiritual beliefs. Along the way, questions were answered and misconceptions about the faith were clarified. The RCIA program led me into a deep relationship with God and I was received into the Catholic Church three years ago. JC.
“I was a southern Baptist before I went through RCIA program almost 4 years ago. I joined to learn about the faith of my kids and my husband. I started out with the intent of learning ONLY, but as it turned out, I converted. It was a blessing for my husband as well. Born and raised Catholic, and going to Catholic schools his whole young life, this was an amazing way for him to re-connect and renew his knowledge of the faith.” KL.
