“Blessed are they who mourn, for they shall be comforted.”
Our Bereavement Ministry works as a team to assist the family in planning the service at St. Paschal’s Church that honors the life of their loved one. Both training and support are offered to new members of the team to enable them to serve in whatever capacity fits both their talents and the needs of the St. Paschal Community.
Team Leaders meet with the family to answer questions, provide comfort and guidance, and serve as liaison with the staff of St. Paschal.
Team Helpers on the day of the funeral welcome family and friends to St. Paschal, assist the family in placing flowers, photos, and memorabilia in the church, practice with family and friends who will participate in the Mass, and provide any needed support.
Sacristans prepare the sacred vessels and the incense for the mass while guiding the altar servers as needed.
