Here is a typical sequence of ceremonies in a wedding with a Mass.
Events in parentheses indicate optional ethnic or religious devotions.
Weddings without a Mass would not include the Offertory, the
Eucharistic Prayer, or Communion. They are about thirty minutes in
length. Weddings with a Mass are about sixty minutes in length.
You might also consider producing a small program for your guests to
use on your wedding day. It could include the sequence of the ceremony,
the names of your attendants, and even the reasons why you chose them.
You could also include your reasons for choosing your readings from
scripture, and any other personal messages you would like to share. In
the Office we have some programs samples that you may borrow.
